A recent interview with the Duchess of Sussex has sparked an online uproar, but not for what she said. The real drama was... what she didn't say.

In a glossy new sit-down with Harper's Bazaar, released November 19, 2025, Meghan Markle opened up about her bond with Prince Harry, describing how their love fuels both their private life and public ventures.

She also gushed about Harry's affection and sense of wonder, but her decision to spotlight his devotion without explicitly voicing her own triggered a wave of emotional reactions and social media speculation.

Devotion, Business, and Motherhood

In the interview, Meghan reflected on her journey of personal growth and how the spotlight has shaped her. She also gave insight into the rebranding of her lifestyle company, a project she deeply cherishes as a founder, and how she balances being a mother to Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

But it was her comments about Harry that ignited a frenzy. "He loves me so boldly, fully, and he also has a different perspective because he sees media that I wouldn't," Meghan shared, adding that he will always protect her because he loves her more than anyone else.

She continued, describing his joyful spirit. "You have someone who just has this childlike wonder and playfulness," she said. "I was so drawn to that, and he brought that out in me. That's translated into every part of our life. Even in business, I want us to play and have fun and explore and be creative."

Netizens Sound Off

That's all it took. The floodgates opened online as netizens pounced.

"This means divorce is coming," one warned.

Others were quick to question her feelings. "How about how much you love him? Or do you?" one Instagrammer challenged. Another echoed, "But she doesn't love him?"

"Nothing about her loving him," someone else noted. Another netizen joked, "She's confessing Harry's love for her on his behalf??? 😹" And a Facebooker pointedly asked, "Have you noticed she never says she loves him unconditionally…"

Divided Reactions

Still, not everyone saw it as a red flag. Some were moved by Meghan Markle's words and jumped to her defense.

"True love always wins 🙌❤️❤️," one supporter declared.

Another wrote, "Sometimes, not everyone express themselves verbally, Harry does. However, some expressions are very evident, by the look you give that person, love language by touching as Megan often does. Both expressions are very visual & everyone can see this in them [sic]."

Trouble in Paradise?

But while there might be devotion between the Sussexes, they don't always see eye-to-eye. As previously reported, Harry is said to be growing increasingly uncomfortable and frustrated with Meghan's flurry of social media activity, which has unveiled personal moments with their children and lifted the veil on their family life in connection with her blossoming lifestyle brand.

Earlier this month, Meghan took to Instagram to share multiple intimate peeks — including video clips and photos — featuring Harry and their two young children enjoying Halloween at their California home.

Although Meghan has posted occasional photos that subtly included the children before, this marked the first time she uploaded a video revealing actual activities — a deliberate decision that offered a clearer-than-ever view into their day-to-day lives, even though the children's faces were not shown.

Another post captured a moment from Game 4 of the World Series at Dodger Stadium, where Meghan and Harry were seen alongside NBA icon Magic Johnson. But according to a source who spoke to Page Six, Harry is growing uneasy about the mounting online visibility of their family.

"He's very aware of her parading him around," the source revealed. "He doesn't love the social media displays." Meghan had deleted her personal Instagram back in 2020, only to return earlier this year to promote her new lifestyle venture, As Ever.

Royal Ties Resurface and So Do Old Wounds

The same insider said Harry is also unsettled by how Meghan has been weaving their royal history into her branding efforts. A recent standout example: her newly launched "Signature Candle No. 519," a product whose name nods directly to their wedding date — May 19, 2018.

Adding more fuel to the fire, a promotional video released during her trip to Washington, D.C., showed Meghan carrying a monogrammed handbag boldly labeled "Duchess of Sussex," a detail that, according to sources, left Harry worried about public perception.

The source claimed that Harry sees unsettling parallels between Meghan’s current branding and Sarah Ferguson's controversial efforts to cash in on royal status, a move that once attracted intense public backlash.

And the public's response hasn't exactly helped. During their appearance on the Jumbotron at the Dodgers game, the couple was reportedly met with audible boos, signaling a shift in how they're received.

'The Shine Has Worn Off': Harry Faces a Harsh New Reality

According to the insider, the fallout hasn't been lost on Harry. "The shine has worn off, which is fair at this point in a relationship. But he's also blown up his life for her." The source continued, "He's used to being universally loved. Now it's the exact opposite: actively booed."

Meghan's return to Instagram wasn't random — it was carefully timed to coincide with her brand's promotional rollout. In one of her posts, shared on October 26, Meghan offered followers a heartwarming and highly curated look into a cozy, fall-themed family day.

The video showed Archie dashing through a corn maze in a tan quilted jacket, mirroring Meghan's own brown jacket and black jeans. In one touching moment, she placed her hand gently on his head. Another scene featured Lilibet, dressed in a pink ribbed outfit, sitting in a wagon among bright orange pumpkins.

Back home in Montecito, Archie was seen carving pumpkins in the backyard, joined by Meghan's mother, Doria Ragland — a scene that painted a picture of idyllic family bonding amid golden California sunshine.
