For Bridget Moynahan and her son Jack, the US Open has become something of a family tradition — but this year's appearance gave fans a whole new reason to look twice.

Bridget Moynahan, 55, and her 19-year-old son Jack stepped out together at the 2026 US Open in New York on Sunday, August 30, continuing their annual tradition of attending the tournament together, according to People.

Fans were captivated by Jack's remarkable resemblance to his father, Tom Brady, while the pictures also offered a striking reminder of just how much the teenager has grown.

The latest photos of the mother-son duo have sparked an enthusiastic debate over which parent Jack resembles most, and some fans are making a particularly bold call. The pair were photographed in the Emirates Suite, where Jack stood nearly a head taller than his mom as they posed together and watched the action on court.

Another Year, Another US Open Appearance

The photos from the day show the two sitting side by side in the stands, both dressed in white, with Bridget wearing sunglasses and her hair pulled back. Jack, meanwhile, appears completely at ease beside his mother, at one point leaning forward with his mouth open as he reacts to the tennis match.

Page Six also shared photos of the pair from the opening night of the tournament, and that was when the resemblance conversation really took off.

Then Fans Started Seeing Tom Everywhere

The most noticeable detail in the pictures wasn't Bridget's polished courtside look or even the mother-son moment itself. It was Jack — and, according to many fans, the unmistakable resemblance to his famous father.

One commenter on the Facebook post wrote, "The older he gets, the more he looks like Tom." Another fan replied, "I had to look twice!!!!" The reactions continued, with one person declaring, "Wow, he's actually even more handsome than his father!" And another offered a slightly more balanced verdict: "Looks like dad but I think he has mom’s nose! Beautiful pictures!"

The discussion spilled over onto Page Six's Instagram post, where fans appeared even more convinced that Jack has inherited plenty of his father's facial features. One commenter wrote, "He looks more like tom Brady than tom Brady does! [sic]"

Another summed up the resemblance with, "Copy and paste for real." But not everyone was ready to hand the resemblance crown to Tom. A third commenter wrote, "He looks like both of his parents but, I think he looks more like mom."

The Height Difference Makes the Photos Even More Striking

The resemblance isn't the only thing that jumps out from the latest pictures. At 19, Jack has grown so tall that he now towers over his mother, creating a particularly eye-catching contrast whenever the two stand together.

Their height difference was already noticeable last year, when Bridget shared a selfie with Jack from a night match at Arthur Ashe Stadium. In the Instagram post, Jack stood tall above his mom as she snapped the picture with the court behind them.

Bridget captioned that 2025 memory, "Traditions at the @usopen 🎾," before thanking Emirates for hosting the night of tennis and adding, "Thank you @emirates for hosting an incredible night of tennis. #usopen."

This year's pictures make that growth even harder to miss. The little boy from those earlier family photos is now visibly towering over his mother, and the transformation has clearly caught the attention of fans following the family over the years.

Jack Has Grown up in a Very Public Family

Jack was born in August 2007 to Bridget and Tom Brady, shortly after the former couple had split in 2006. Tom later went on to marry Gisele Bündchen, and the former couple also share son Benjamin and daughter Vivian.

Despite the intense public attention surrounding Jack's arrival, Bridget has consistently emphasized the importance of giving her son a private and secure upbringing. Her experience with the media during that period was, by her own account, considerably more difficult than the polished family photos seen today.

In a 2019 interview with People, Bridget recalled having photographers follow her and even seeing men hiding outside her home while she was a new mother. "As a new mother, you want to just protect your child. That kind of attention felt like a threat," she said.

She described becoming increasingly private during that period, an experience she also discussed in Our Shoes, Our Selves, the book she co-wrote with Amanda Benchley. In the book, Bridget described the experience even more starkly, writing, "Having a baby should have been the most joyous time of my life, but instead I felt assaulted."

She also wrote, "It's unnerving to be followed and stalked like that, especially during such an emotionally vulnerable time."

From a Difficult Beginning to a Close Mother-Son Bond

Bridget has since spoken warmly about the life she and Jack have built, including the relationship she and Tom have maintained as co-parents. She told People that they had both found partners who supported their efforts to raise Jack and loved him as their own.

"I don't think you can ask for more than that. My son is surrounded by love," Bridget said. That close bond has also shown up in some of their more ordinary shared interests. In September 2023, Bridget told PEOPLE at Global Citizen's Festival that she and Jack connect through music, with each introducing the other to artists from different generations.

"I get to introduce the Red Hot Chili Peppers to my son, and he's introducing me to some of the other artists and D-Nice and everybody," she said, adding that it was "nice" that they could come together at different ages and share their musical tastes.

Their family milestones have continued to receive plenty of affection from both parents. For Jack's 19th birthday, Tom shared a tribute, "Happy 19th birthday, Jack! 🎉 Aug 22, 2007 is a day I'll never forget, because that's when you showed up and stole my heart (and my sleep… and my patience… hahahaha)."

"You're kind, thoughtful, empathetic, and full of love!" he added. Tom also wrote, "And I'm so proud of who you have become. You fill my heart with so much joy and I'm blessed to be your dad. I cant wait to see what's next" in his Instagram birthday tribute to his son.

Bridget marked the same milestone with a simple but sentimental message centered on what Jack calls her. Her Instagram post featured the words, "The love of my life doesn't call me with romantic words or sweet nicknames. The love of my life calls me 'mom.' @inexdigi..."
