Meet Rachel Skarsten's Husband, AI Expert Alexandre Robicquet

The Norwegian-born actress couldn’t contain her excitement any longer when she finally told the world she was hitched. Like herself, Rachel Skarsten’s husband thrives in his chosen field as one of the leading experts in online tech.

Rachel Skarsten has graced the silver screen for more than two decades, starting as early as the late 1990s, but the seasoned star took on one of her most significant roles just a few years ago: she became a wife (and more!).

It was an exciting milestone for Skarsten—one she shared some time after the nuptials on social media. While her husband does have a social media presence, he’s more of an enigma, letting his accomplishments speak for him. Learn more about him below.

Who Is Rachel Skarsten’s Husband?

Alexandre Robicquet is the CEO and co-founder of the software company Crossing Minds, based in the San Francisco Bay Area, a role he’s held since 2018. His journey into the tech industry began at Louis-Le-Grand in Paris, where he completed the preparatory program in Physics-Chemistry.

He went on to acquire a Master’s in Applied and Fundamental Mathematics in 2014, and another in Computer Science - Artificial Intelligence at Stanford University in 2019. During his time at Stanford, he also served as a Graduate Research Assistant for Artificial Intelligence.

In addition to his role at Crossing Minds, Robicquet currently holds several other high-ranking positions, including President North America of the alcohol brand Maison Villevert, Board Member of the retail brand Since Tomorrow, and Official Member of the Forbes Tech Council.

“Here’s to Love!”

On May 12, 2020, Skarsten shared a picturesque and celebratory photo of herself and Robicquet. The couple is captured mid embrace in front of the Toronto City Hall, with Robicquet holding a document as Skarsten lovingly grabs onto him.

“I married my sweetheart,” the actress announced, adding that the photo wasn’t taken on their wedding day. She explained that she wanted to keep the date private and share the good on her own terms.

“That and I can’t stop referring to him as my husband so it’s bound to come out eventually lol. Here’s to LOVE❤️,” she concluded. Later, in August, she shared an update into married life, writing, “The first year of marriage feels like high school, in that you celebrate every [month’s] anniversary...and I’m [into] it.”

Prior to the marriage announcement, the lovebirds were relatively open with their relationship. They both appeared frequently on each other’s social pages in sweet posts—such as when Skarsten celebrated her husband’s birthday in December 2022, writing, “Happy Birthday to the absolute hands down love of my life. ❤️”

A New Addition to The Family

Since getting married, the couple has become more private about their relationship. Skarsten now posts less about her personal life, and Robicquet’s last public Instagram post, as of this writing, was in 2022. Despite their privacy, Skarsten shared another joyful milestone with fans.

In September 2023, the star posted a photo of herself in a white two-piece outfit, with her blouse unbuttoned, revealing a very pregnant belly. “9 months,” she captioned simply. Then, on her birthday in April 2024, she gave the world a peek into her new role as a mother.

Alongside a picture of herself smiling at her child—whose face she protected with a white heart emoji, she wrote, “The first day of the last year of my 30’s was pretty much perfection. Very grateful for another trip around the sun 🌞.”
