Summer officially started with a splash for one Hollywood mom, and her mini-me made sure everyone noticed.

Kate Hudson, 47, gave fans a glimpse into her recent Athens, Greece getaway with her three kids, and the photos she shared left followers with plenty to say. The trip, which ran through late June 2026, included several looks that had her youngest daughter dressing just like her.

The "How to Lose a Guy in Ten Days" star posted a photo dump to Instagram recapping the trip, writing, "Perfect start to summer @ooaesthesis," a nod to the family's stay at One&Only Aesthesis, a beach resort in the coastal Athens neighborhood of Glyfada that channels the glamour of the Athenian Riviera in its 1960s heyday.

The carousel featured Kate alongside her children, daughter Rani Rose Hudson Fujikawa, 7, and son Bingham Hawn Bellamy, known as Bing, 14. Her oldest son, Ryder Russell Robinson, 22, did not appear in any of the photos.

One image showed Kate and Rani seated poolside in lawn chairs, both absorbed in books resting on their knees. The actress wore a brown triangle bikini with a thick band, paired with a gold necklace, a matching ring, and red-framed cat-eye reading glasses.

Meanwhile, Rani wore the identical swimsuit and mirrored her mother's reading pose, with matching drinks set on the table between them.

The coordinated outfits carried into the evening. In another photo, Kate held Rani's hand while walking along a beachside path at night, dressed in a strappy baby blue maxi dress with a gold necklace, a brown shoulder bag, and sheer flats. Similarly, Rani wore a floral halter dress with a baby blue hem and a red and blue floral print.

Beyond the reading session and evening stroll, the family kept busy throughout the trip. The actress, Rani, and Bing were also seen walking along the beach together and playing padel tennis during the stay.

Interestingly, Greece has long held a special place for Kate, and it shows in how she spends her days there. In a past interview with Harper's Bazaar, she walked through what an ideal day on a Greek island looks like for her.

It would start with waking up around 7:30 in the morning to the sound of her kids running around before heading down for an early swim while her sons run along the beach.

By early afternoon, the day usually shifts to the water, with Kate and her family boating between islands. "Greece is my favorite vacation spot; I feel really at home there. I love the culture, the people are wonderful, and the water is just so incredibly appealing," she said.

Evenings are reserved for gathering with close friends and family to watch the sunset with a cocktail before heading into town for dinner, a routine she says gives her the connection and laughter she values most, before an early bedtime to start the cycle again the next day.

Fans Flood the Comments Over Rani's Resemblance to Her Parents

The photos of Kate and Rani drew tons of attention from the actress's followers, with many focused on how much the seven-year-old has grown and who she resembles.

On the post, one person wrote, "Your daughter is a beautiful young lady." Another commenter pointed out her resemblance to her father, writing, "the girl has her dads whole face ❤️ [sic]."

Others focused on how much Rani has grown since her younger years. "Your mini you is so grown up!" one person wrote, while another added, "Your daughter is so beautiful! She has the sweetest face!"

Rani is Kate's youngest child, born to her and fiancé Danny Fujikawa, a musician the actress has known since she was 23 through mutual friends.

Bing's father is Hudson's ex, Matt Bellamy, whom she got engaged to in 2011, three months before Bing was born, before the pair split in 2014. Ryder's father is Hudson's ex-husband, Black Crowes frontman Chris Robinson, whom she married in 2000.

The couple welcomed Ryder in 2004 and divorced in 2007. In between those relationships, Kate also dated Owen Wilson, Lance Armstrong, and Alex Rodriguez.

In a past interview with The Times, the actress reflected on raising children at very different stages of her life, noting that she was far more hands-on and unstructured with Ryder as a young mother in her 20s compared to the more structured approach she has taken with her younger two.

Kate Hudson also spoke about how her relationships with her children's fathers have evolved, saying she and Chris simply check in occasionally, while she called Matt an excellent co-parent.

She and Matt's wife, Elle, have become close friends, and the two blended families often vacation together, something Kaate said might not look conventional from the outside but feels like a strong, unified family unit to her.
