He recalled seeing Angela walk past the bar more than once before she eventually left her table. "There she was again, walking twice past the bar. And again this look," he recalled.

"A little while later she left her table for the toilet. I followed behind. Five minutes small talk and then straight away into the nearest possible place and down to business," he continued.

Boris said their brief encounter took place on a flight of stairs between the bathrooms. Afterward, they went their separate ways, and he returned to his hotel before visiting Barbara the following day.

"In the morning I went to Barbara; the pains were a false alarm. We packed up our things and left England. As to the consequences of the previous evening I didn't have a second thought," the tennis legend candidly shared.

Then, eight months after their encounter, he received a letter from Angela informing him that she was pregnant. Boris traveled to London to meet her, a moment he later revisited in "Boom! Boom! The World vs. Boris Becker."

He remembered that she arrived wearing a large coat, which she then removed to reveal that she was heavily pregnant. He said it was an unbelievable moment and admitted that the realization only fully hit him much later.

That similarity became a recurring theme among other commenters, although their observations ranged from playful to less flattering.

Angela gave birth to their daughter, Anna Ermakova, in March 2000. Boris and Barbara's marriage subsequently ended in 2001, with the former couple separating after eight years of marriage.

He later acknowledged that his infidelity had accelerated their breakup, as the affair continued to surface during disagreements and placed further pressure on a relationship that was already struggling.

The aftermath also carried a substantial financial consequence. According to reports, the German was ordered to make a one-off child maintenance payment that was reported to be around £2 million — approximately $2.5 million.

What began as a brief encounter in London had therefore permanently changed the shape of his family. More than two decades later, Anna is now 26, and photographs of the father and daughter have prompted frequent discussion about the resemblance between them.
