Fans know Brock Davies as Scheana Shay’s husband, but long before their wedding, Brock Davies’ first wife played a central role in a story that remained largely off-screen — until now.

Before tying the knot with "Vanderpump Rules" star Scheana Shay, Brock Davies was married to someone else. In a 2021 episode of the Bravo series, Davies opened up about his past—and the emotional distance between him and his children from that first relationship.

At the time, he revealed he hadn’t spoken to his kids in nearly four years. Here’s everything we know about Brock Davies’ first wife and the marriage that came before his reality TV spotlight.

Brock Davies Admitted to a Troubled Past with His First Wife

During a candid moment on "Vanderpump Rules," Davies addressed questions about his past, including a troubling incident involving his first wife. While gathered at Lisa Vanderpump’s home with his then-fiancée Scheana Shay and fellow cast members, Davies opened up after Lala Kent raised concerns about his previous relationship.

Speaking to the group, the Australian fitness coach acknowledged that he had made mistakes in the past but emphasized that he had learned from them. He later pulled Vanderpump aside for a more personal conversation, where he admitted that he wasn’t proud of everything in his history.

Davies explained that the man he is today is not the same person he was a decade ago. He said the relationship with his ex-wife had been toxic and revealed that, at one point, he had slapped his former partner. He stressed that it happened only once and expressed deep regret over the incident.

According to Davies, the situation surrounding his first marriage and children was far more complex than it appeared. He said he had hoped Kent would understand that it wasn’t simply a matter of showing up to reconnect with his kids.

Brock Davies’ First Wife Filed a Restraining Order During Their Separation

The tension between the former couple escalated beyond their initial breakup. In a confessional interview on "Vanderpump Rules," Davies explained that the domestic abuse incident occurred when he was 19.

However, he clarified that the restraining order she later filed was not directly related to that incident. According to Davies, the couple later moved to France, where their son was born. They eventually separated, but soon after, they discovered they were expecting a second child.

He said another argument—this time involving his ex-wife’s father—led to a domestic violence order being filed against him. He added that the order was eventually lifted in court after he appealed it.

In a conversation with Lisa Vanderpump, Davies became emotional as he discussed the impact of the separation and his estrangement from his children.

He said his ex-wife took the kids away after their breakup, and by the time he moved overseas to pursue career opportunities, his children had begun a new life with their mother and stepfather in Australia.

Davies expressed guilt over his absence, saying he struggled with the idea of having feelings about missing his children when, in his words, “they're the ones that missed out.”

After His First Marriage, Brock Davies Found Love Again With Scheana Shay

Following the end of his relationship with his first wife, the former rugby player turned fitness coach began a new chapter — with "Vanderpump Rules" star Scheana Shay.

The two met in 2019 at a music festival and quickly connected. Just two months later, they traveled together to Australia and Bali, signaling that their bond was serious. Shay confirmed the relationship publicly in November of that year during an interview with People.

Their romance continued to move forward and in April 2021, they welcomed their first child, a daughter named Summer Moon Honey Davies. That July, Davies proposed and the couple officially tied the knot in August 2022, with their daughter serving as the flower girl in the ceremony.

For Shay, this marked her second marriage — she was previously married to Mike Shay from 2014 to 2016. For Davies, it was a public new beginning following the private and painful past tied to his first wife.
