People Shocked After Seeing New Photos of David Beckham, 50, Vacationing on a Yacht with His Wife

The football icon was known for constantly switching up his hairstyle throughout his career, and even in retirement, his hair still manages to spark conversation.

David Beckham's recent yacht getaway with his wife, Victoria Beckham, caught the internet's attention for more reasons than one. The couple was photographed soaking up the sun aboard their $20.4 million yacht, but it was David's hair that had fans doing double-takes.

In the photos, the 50-year-old former footballer was seen sporting beachwear, tiny swim trunks, as he relaxed with his family. Victoria was also turning heads, wearing a sleek black swimsuit paired with a wide-brimmed hat to protect her skin from the sun.

However, a patch on David’s head with noticeably less hair than the rest drew the most attention, sparking online chatter, with some fans even questioning whether they were looking at the real David.

One viewer simply refused to believe the images were real, writing, "It's not him." Doubts about his physique followed, with someone declaring, "Not even his body what a joke." His hair, or apparent lack of it, quickly became a focal point, as one person asked, "What's going on with his hair?"

Another netizen noted, "I don't think this is David. David is more toned and has a full head of hair." An individual penned a blunt comment, "So bad with all that money." More people shared their opinions, "No hair don't like him like that!"

Still, not everyone joined the pile-on. One person stepped in with a more positive take, saying, "He looks amazing for his age." Another admirer gushed, "He’s gorgeous and so is she ❤️." Lastly, one person urged, "Let the guy live."

Just a few months ago in June, David Beckham was still sporting his signature hairstyle, combed upward through the center with a slight fade on the sides, a clean and polished look he's been known to favor in recent years. He was seen wearing this style at several high-profile events that month, including at the Pepsi event in June.

Later, he attended the King's Foundation Awards ceremony at St James's Palace in London, held in honor of the foundation's 35th anniversary.

Just two days after that, he appeared once again, this time in Miami Gardens, Florida, during the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 group A match between Al Ahly SC and Internacional CF Miami at Hard Rock Stadium.

David's hair appeared to be in good shape as recently as June, but things took a turn in July when he ran into a minor mishap while trimming it. He shared the incident in a video posted to his Instagram page.

The slip-up left him with a bald spot on the top of his head, the result of what he described as the clipper head falling off mid-shave. In the video, Victoria can be heard asking, "What have you done?" to which David explained the accident.

While he insisted it wasn't funny, Victoria couldn't stop laughing. She told him their kids would have hours of material to tease him over the mistake, adding bluntly, "It does not look good. I'm going to always be honest with you. It looks terrible."

David captioned the post, "This happened yesterday whilst shaving my head and as you can hear my wife didn't find it funny at all."

Victoria also shared the clip on her Instagram, tagging him with the caption, "Dad what have you done?!?!😂😂"

Now, judging by the recent vacation photos, it seems David's hair has yet to grow back to its usual good-looking length.
