An 'A+' for the Nostalgic Jive That Lit up the Ballroom
Fishel, who played Topanga Lawrence on the iconic '90s sitcom, is currently competing in Season 34 of "Dancing With the Stars." But this week, she delivered a jive so personal, it left viewers across the nation feeling emotional.

She and her professional partner, Pasha Pashkov, danced to the "Boy Meets World" theme song on a meticulously recreated classroom set. And there, standing solemn and proud in a tan suit, was Daniels — the man who played Mr. Feeny from 1993 to 2000.
As the music played, Daniels took his seat — the same way Mr. Feeny might before doling out a life lesson — and watched with eyes filled with pride. At the end of the routine, the pair returned to his desk, where Daniels wordlessly lifted a paper marked "A+" in red ink.
It was a moment of pure television magic — and no one was ready.

Judges Fell Short, But Feeny Didn't
While Mr. Feeny's perfect grade rang loud and clear, the judges were less generous: 29 out of 40, placing Fishel and Pashkov in the middle of the pack for Week 5.
But numbers meant nothing compared to the wave of emotion Fishel unleashed.

On her October 7 episode of "Danielle With the Stars," Fishel revealed why this performance meant everything. "It's really a dedication to Bill and the role he has played in my life and the role 'Boy Meets World' has played in my life," she explained. "He's such an inspiration to so many of us."

Reflecting on when she first arrived on the "Boy Meets World" set, Fishel added on-air, "It was intimidating, but Bill, who had already won two Emmys, treated me like I deserved all the respect in the world as a fellow actor. It's been over 30 years since we met, and I know how proud he is of me. He really means a lot to me."

The theme for the episode, Dedication Night, saw all ten remaining contestants pay tribute to someone who shaped their lives. The show also featured a special guest judge — former pro and two-time mirrorball champion Kym Johnson — who joined the panel for the evening.

'This Man Is 98': Fans Break Down over Mr. Feeny's Return

Another added, "Bill Daniels must be protected at all costs ❤️." Several viewers were moved by Daniels' loyalty to his former co-star. "That man is 98 and he showed up for her," one person posted. "They should have gave [sic] him a mic so he could say a few words, he could not travel across that stage."
Another added, "98 yrs old and shows up! Mr Feeny & Topanga together again." One "Boy Meets World" fan gushed, "Such a throwback, I'm obsessed."

Others were struck by the generational impact of Daniels' career. One said, "I'm a lot older, so Bill Daniels isn't Mr. Feeny — he's John Adams or Dr. Craig — but the fact that he's someone important to so many generations? That makes him beyond special."
From Zero Dance Skills to Ballroom Bombshell
Fishel rose to fame as Topanga Lawrence on "Boy Meets World." Today, she's a director, podcaster, and mother of two. As she shared on her podcast, she entered the show with no formal dance training.
"I've gone from not even having one minute of dance experience — unless you count dancing at a wedding — to now abandoning my family essentially to practice for what feels like twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week," she said.
Her podcast, "Danielle With the Stars," offers listeners a behind-the-scenes look at her journey on the show — and was also where she first revealed Daniels' surprise involvement in her performance.
A Ballroom Moment for the Books
Fishel first teased Daniels' appearance on her podcast weeks ago, sending fans into an immediate frenzy.

"Everyone's been asking, 'Who's it gonna be? Is it gonna be your husband? Is it gonna be your kids?' I am doing my Dedication Week dance with none other than Mister Bill Daniels, Mister Feeny himself is going to be on the ballroom floor with me," she told fans.
Though Daniels did not speak during the live performance, his silent presence beside Fishel offered a powerful tribute to their enduring bond — and to a character who continues to resonate across generations.
