Days after Brooklyn Beckham appeared to joke about his family's reported feud, his parents' Father's Day posts left followers focused on an entirely different detail.

David and Victoria Beckham appeared to send a clear message on Father's Day: despite ongoing reports of tension within the family, Brooklyn Beckham was still part of the celebration.

The couple's social media tributes both included photos of their eldest son, a detail that quickly became the focus of online discussion. In the comment sections, followers paid close attention to what his presence might say about the family's current dynamic.

Victoria's Father's Day tribute on June 21, 2026, opened with a beach photo showing David in the water alongside the couple's four children — Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz, and Harper — during a family vacation.

Alongside the image, she wrote, "David you truly are the best daddy. Your greatest achievement has always been our beautiful children and we love you so much. Happy Father's Day."

David shared his own Father's Day carousel, describing fatherhood as his "most important job." He added, "I love you all & thank you mummy @victoriabeckham For giving me our beautiful family 🩷 Happy Father's Day to all the Dads around the world 🩷."

Several photos highlighted moments with his children over the years, including two throwback photos of Brooklyn from his childhood and teenage years.

The Detail in the Father's Day Tributes That Netizens Immediately Focused On

For some followers, the photos raised more questions than the captions answered. On Instagram, one user wrote, "Waiting for Brooklyn's reaction 😂."

A second viewer said, "Brooklyn you are so blessed to have one who actually wants you and loves you! 💖." A third chimed in, "If Victoria left Brooklyn out the world would be in uproar...... he will always be their son."

Another added, "You dont forget yr children even if they take the wrong path, you just wait for them to take the right one, Happy Fathers day x [sic]." One commenter pushed back against some of the speculation, "You look for trouble. Brooklyn won't be a happy photo of him😊."

Under David's post, a different person observed, "Love how he's not left Brooklyn out, even given him his own photo with dad. This is so sad 😢 both must be hurting today I'm sure 🥺." Another simply wrote, "You really are one amazing dad ❤️ @davidbeckham xxx."

While David and Victoria both publicly acknowledged Brooklyn through their Father's Day posts, some followers noticed an absence elsewhere on social media.

The Father’s Day Tribute Followers Did Not See

Brooklyn did not appear to share a Father's Day tribute to David on his Instagram account. His page instead remained focused on his ongoing projects and brand partnerships.

At the same time, his wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham, shared a Father's Day tribute to her father, billionaire investor Nelson Peltz, describing him as "the best dad in the entire world" and thanking him for his support.

The post did not include her father-in-law, David. The remainder of Nicola's message for Nelson read:

"i love you to the moon and back a trillion times over. thank you for always believing in me and always encouraging me to chase my biggest dreams. you’ve taught me to be so tough and to never give up. (just like you 🥰) i love you so so so so much! i hope today is so perfect for you."

By then, Brooklyn was already facing scrutiny over a recent advertising campaign that had generated mixed reactions online.

The Advertisement That Reignited Discussion About The Beckham Family Rift

The Father's Day conversation came only days after Brooklyn found himself at the center of another family-related discussion.

In a DoorDash campaign tied to the FIFA World Cup 2026, Brooklyn appeared to joke about his reported family situation. In the advertisement, Brooklyn sat on a couch and told viewers, "You're probably wondering why I'm watching the FIFA World Cup 2026 from home."

After a doorbell rang, he got up, walked to the door, and added, "It's not like I don't have tickets. Um, it's because ... it's a long story." A delivery driver then arrived with a package and asked, "For Brooklyn?" to which Brooklyn replied, "Yes."

The commercial later showed Brooklyn handing over his World Cup tickets. "These can go to someone...else," he said before instructing the driver, "Hey...put them somewhere fun."

Brooklyn and DoorDash promoted the campaign with a joint Instagram caption that read: "Asked @doordash to go drop my FIFA World Cup 2026 tickets for you guys... happy hunting Follow @doordash's account to see clues for where you can find them xx."

The campaign drew attention online, but it was Brooklyn's reported earnings that raised eyebrows.

According to a Page Six report, sources claimed Brooklyn earned approximately $1 million for participating in the campaign. The outlet also reported that Brooklyn's estranged family was not amused by the advertisement.

Despite the criticism, some marketing observers viewed the campaign as a success. Ana Andjelic, a brand expert who writes the "The Sociology of Business" Substack, shared her assessment of the campaign.

"It's a good ad. It taps into some human truths: all families have their own feuds. It's the World Cup, it involves the most famous soccer player in the world [Brooklyn's father, soccer legend David], it has perfect timing. It's a win for DoorDash," she told the outlet. "[The company] wants to be in the news and they have achieved what they wanted … it's funny," she added.

The Reaction to Brooklyn's DoorDash campaign was deeply divided

The commercial generated sharply different reactions online. On a separate Instagram post, someone else stated, "Funny? It was ridiculous and embarrassing."

Another offered a much shorter response, "Good for him." A different person remarked, "He will regret all of this as soon as his billionaire wife leaves him."

Responses beneath Brooklyn's promotional post showed a similarly divided audience. One supporter commented, "Keep going Brooklyn. We are all behind you lad @brooklynpeltzbeckham."

Another wrote, "Love it 🙌. Congratulations. If you can't beat them ..join them at their own game. Well played." Not everyone agreed. One commenter wrote, "I have second hand [sic] embarrassment watching this."

The strong reactions reflected the broader interest surrounding Brooklyn's relationship with his family, a topic that resurfaced again when he missed one of his father's most significant recent milestones.

The Celebration Brooklyn Skipped, and Harper's Unanswered Visit

On June 12, David was honored with the 2,849th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame at 6819 Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles. Only three of David and Victoria's four children attended the ceremony: Cruz, Romeo, and Harper. Brooklyn and Nicola were absent at the time.

The couple lives near the Hollywood landmark but did not show up for the event. Brooklyn's estrangement from his family has been unfolding publicly for months, culminating in an 800-word statement released in January 2026.

In the hours before the ceremony, Harper was seen walking up to Brooklyn's home. She was there for roughly 30 seconds, according to Hello! Magazine, before leaving without making contact. The couple, it turned out, were out of town in Miami.

The Walk of Fame ceremony became the latest family milestone Brooklyn did not attend, following his father's 50th birthday celebration last year.

The Family Celebration Brooklyn Chose Not to Attend

As previously reported, Victoria shared a series of photos from the celebration on social media on May 4, 2025. The post included snapshots from an intimate dinner and a trip to Paris.

In her caption, she wrote, "Creating special memories with family and friends. We love you all." She tagged Romeo, Cruz, and Harper. Neither Brooklyn nor his wife, Nicola, appeared in any of the photographs.

The omission did not go unnoticed. Online discussions emerged shortly after the post, with fans and followers expressing a range of thoughts and emotions regarding Brooklyn's absence.

On Instagram, several commenters drew parallels between Brooklyn's situation and other well-known family dynamics.

Others defended Brooklyn or criticized the reactions. "Shame on Victoria and David and everyone shaming a Brooklyn for not being in there. Are yall okay in the head [sic]?" read one comment.

Some viewers echoed the sentiment of familial distance. "Another Megan and Harry [sic]," one wrote.

Another added, "Since his wedding and the tensions between Nicola and his mother, they've remained somewhat distant from the family and occasionally displayed challenging behavior." One final comment urged reflection, "Don't take family for granted [sic] son."

Similar reactions appeared on Facebook. "Is Brooklyn the Prince Harry of the Beckhams?" questioned one commenter. Another shared, "This is bad. But I think it wasn't his intention to abstain himself from this great event [sic]."

Behind the scenes, however, sources have shared more context about Brooklyn and Nicola's absence. According to TMZ, the couple traveled to London ahead of David's milestone celebration with the intention of honoring him in a more private setting.

Sources close to the situation said Brooklyn and Nicola reached out to the family, hoping for a separate gathering before the main party.

However, this suggestion did not go over well. They were reportedly told that if they wanted to see the family, they needed to attend the main event.

Feeling disheartened, Brooklyn and Nicola chose not to participate. According to sources, they were particularly affected by the presence of Romeo and his girlfriend, Kim Turnbull, whom they reportedly hoped to avoid.

TMZ previously reported that Brooklyn and Romeo's relationship became strained late last year, with tensions between the brothers reportedly growing in the months that followed.

The issue is believed to stem from Romeo's relationship with Kim, who once shared a past connection with Brooklyn.

Although Brooklyn is now married to Nicola, insiders shared that he has concerns about Kim's intentions and doesn't approve of her involvement with Romeo.

The concern, they say, comes from a place of protectiveness rather than jealousy. As a result, Brooklyn and Nicola have reportedly distanced themselves from family events where Kim is present.

This tension became more visible in recent months. The couple did not attend Victoria's fashion show in March, which Kim also attended.

Similarly, during a soccer match in Los Angeles attended by David, Victoria, Romeo, and Kim — at a time when David's Inter Miami CF played against LAFC — Brooklyn and Nicola were notably missing. Sources said they had not been invited.

According to TMZ, Romeo appeared to emphasize family unity during David's birthday celebration, posting a group photo on social media with the caption, "Family is everything." However, Brooklyn and Nicola were not tagged in the post.

As speculation continues to circulate, the underlying tensions between Brooklyn and other members of the Beckham family remain a point of public interest.
