The Last Photo of Victoria Beckham and Nicola Peltz Together Resurfaces amid Brooklyn's Shocking Statement
What once looked like a festive family moment is now being reexamined as something far more complicated.
A holiday photo from 2024 featuring the Beckhams and Nicola Peltz has surfaced again in light of Brooklyn Beckham's recent social media statement where he gave explosive details of his feud with the family.
The Shocking Accusations
On January 19, 2026, Brooklyn took to Instagram Stories with a six-part statement that stunned fans and fueled headlines. In it, he shared painful and deeply personal accounts on how his relationship with Victoria and David Beckham had unraveled.
He began by stating clearly that he had no interest in reconciling with his family and pushed back on claims that he was being manipulated by his wife, Nicola. Instead, he said, this was the first time in his life he was standing up for himself.
"For my entire life," Brooklyn wrote, "my parents have controlled narratives in the press about our family. [...] Recently, I have seen with my own eyes the lengths that they'll go through to place countless lies in the media, mostly at the expense of innocent people, to preserve their own facade. But I believe the truth always comes out."

He then accused his parents of actively trying to sabotage his relationship. According to Brooklyn, Victoria canceled Nicola's wedding dress at the last minute, forcing a scramble to find a replacement.
He also claimed they pressured him to sign away the rights to his name before the wedding, something he was hesitant to do. His delay allegedly cost them money and damaged their relationship.
Tensions reportedly escalated over the seating arrangements. Brooklyn said Victoria became angry that both Nicola's grandmother and his own grandmother were seated at the couple's table. The parents had separate tables nearby, but this still caused a conflict.
Then came Brooklyn's most humiliating moment, according to Brooklyn. He alleged that Victoria took over the first dance at the wedding, a moment that had been carefully planned between him and Nicola. Instead of his bride, it was his mother who danced with him, and she did so "very inappropriately" in front of all the guests.
Brooklyn went on to say that other family members told him Nicola wasn't really part of the family. Once he pushed back, he claims the situation got worse. He was blocked by his brothers on Instagram, while he only returned the favor just before Christmas 2025.
Despite all of this, Brooklyn said he and Nicola made an effort to reconcile. They traveled to London for David's birthday, only to be ignored for several days. When they were finally invited, it was to the large party full of guests and cameras.
Later, David Beckham agreed to see his son privately, but would not allow Nicola to attend. That was a "slap in the face" for Brooklyn. And when the family later visited Los Angeles, Brooklyn said they refused to see him and Nicola again.
That was the last straw.
In his two final stories, the 26-year-old cut to the chase, stating that Beckhams prioritize branding and publicity over connection.
He ended his statement by rejecting the public narrative that Nicola was controlling. He claimed it was actually his parents who had controlled him for years, leading to serious anxiety. Since stepping away, he said, he has finally found peace.
"My wife and I do not want a life shaped by image, press, or manipulation. All we want is peace, privacy and happiness for us and our future family," he concluded.
The Last Photo with the Family
In light of those explosive claims, many were surprised to be reminded of just how present Nicola had once been in family life. Victoria still has multiple Instagram posts featuring her daughter-in-law, including several where they appear like good friends.
But the last image of them together was posted on December 26, 2024, showing the entire Beckham family gathered around a Christmas tree. Victoria, dressed in a black blazer and fishnet stockings, stood beside Nicola, who wore a red corset top, black leather blazer, and high-waisted trousers.
The caption reads, "Being together for the holidays makes me so happy xxxx I love you all so much [sic]."
The photo now feels like a turning point. Whatever warmth existed then, something clearly shifted after that holiday. And by the summer of 2025, it seems the situation had reached its breaking point.
No Direct Communication
According to a Daily Mail report published on January 8, Brooklyn eventually decided to stop all direct communication with his parents. From that point on, they could only reach him through their legal teams.
Letters were allegedly exchanged between Schillings and Harbottle & Lewis, representing the two sides. Brooklyn also asked that his parents refrain from making any public statements on social media, although he has not taken legal action.
The request followed a series of reported concerning briefings that painted Nicola as the one pulling strings behind the scenes.
At the time, publicists for both parties declined to comment. But now that Brooklyn has spoken for himself, one thing is certain: the picture-perfect family image the public has seen for years may not have reflected what was really happening behind closed doors.
