"Dallas" actor Patrick Duffy and she have known of each other through the entertainment industry for years, but their relationship did not blossom until the isolation of the COVID-19 pandemic gave them time to truly talk.

The two were part of a group text with mutual friends before the conversation eventually narrowed to just them. Patrick told People in 2020 that he drove for 20 hours and arrived at Linda's doorstep because he needed to discover whether their connection was real. "We haven't been apart since," he said.
