According to the same outlet, Perry and Trudeau attended a cabaret show at Crazy Horse Paris on October 25, 2025.

After the performance, they emerged hand in hand as photographers waited outside. A fan presented Perry with a rose and wished her a happy birthday before the couple left in a waiting vehicle.

On December 4, 2025, Trudeau publicly mentioned Perry in an X post about their visit with former Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida and his wife, Yuko.

"Great to see you @kishida230. Katy and I were so glad to have the chance to sit down with you and Yuko. Thank you, Fumio, for your friendship and your continued commitment to both the international rules-based order and to a better future for everyone," he wrote.

Their relationship reached another public milestone on June 8, 2026, when they made their red carpet debut at the Tribeca Festival premiere of Perry's concert film, "Katy Perry: The Lifetimes Tour - Live from Paris."

Speaking with Tomás Mier in an interview reported by People, Perry reflected on how the tour had affected her personal life.

"I feel like a more grounded person in so many aspects of my life," she said. "I am very in love. And actually, that show was after I met the love of my life and so I felt very anchored by that because I'm a little bit like a rainbow kite."

She continued, "I fly super high and touch the veil ... cosmos ... and sometimes I need to be anchored. So, to have that anchor finally makes me feel really whole now."

As their relationship became more public, attention also turned to their separate lives and the places they call home.

Katy Perry's Family Life and Property Connections

Perry continues to maintain close ties to Montecito as her relationship with Trudeau develops. A source told Us Weekly in June 2026 that the singer's "home base" remains Montecito, where her daughter, Daisy Dove Bloom, attends school.

Perry shares her daughter, Daisy Dove Bloom, with her former fiancé, Orlando Bloom. The pair separated in 2025 after an on-and-off relationship spanning nine years.

In a July 4, 2025, report by ABC News, representatives for the former couple confirmed that they had shifted their focus to co-parenting. They said Perry and Bloom would continue spending time together as a family, with Daisy's well-being remaining their shared priority.

An insider offered more insight into their arrangement, saying, "Orlando and Katy have a good rhythm with coparenting, so that's where Katy spends the majority of her time unless she is traveling on tour."

Perry's continued ties to the area also extend to two separate Montecito properties.

According to a May 23, 2024, report from the New York Post, citing The Wall Street Journal, Perry purchased a residence for $14.2 million in October 2020. The property spans approximately nine acres and offers ocean views.

Separately, Perry and Bloom were associated with a $15 million mansion that they reportedly began renting out after their separation, according to Us Weekly.

Unlike the nine-acre residence, the $15 million estate became the subject of a lengthy legal drama.

How a Property Sale Turned Into a Legal Battle

The dispute began in July 2020, when businessman and Army veteran Carl Westcott agreed to sell the estate through Perry's business manager, Bernie Gudvi.

Westcott had purchased the property for $11.25 million in May 2020. However, he attempted to withdraw from the agreement just days after signing it.

His attorneys argued that Huntington's disease, recent back surgery, and prescription pain medication had affected his ability to make the decision.

Perry's representatives challenged those claims, maintaining that Westcott was capable of entering the agreement. They argued that he later changed his mind because he could not find a replacement home.

In December 2023, a judge upheld the original sales contract, prompting a public response from Westcott's daughter-in-law, Kameron Westcott. "Sadly, I wanted to update that the judge ruled in Katy Perry's favor," she wrote in an Instagram statement.

She maintained that her father-in-law had not been in the right mental state when he agreed to sell the property. She thanked supporters and said the family would continue advocating for people living with conditions that affect cognitive function.

The mansion was subsequently transferred to a limited liability company in May 2024. At the time, Perry was reported to have become the property's official owner.

Although the sale had moved forward, the legal proceedings continued over financial compensation. According to the New York Post, Perry's side sought damages related to lost rental income, deferred maintenance, water damage, and a fallen tree. As a result, Westcott's son called her "heartless."

Beyond the legal dispute, photographs of the mansion reveal the estate's architecture, interiors, and expansive grounds.

Inside Katy Perry's Montecito Estate

According to an August 25, 2025, report from Realtor.com, the mansion measures approximately 9,285 square feet and includes eight bedrooms, 7.5 bathrooms, a tennis court, a swimming pool, and two guesthouses.

The estate sits on more than two acres, according to the New York Post.

Inside, one bedroom has exposed wooden ceiling beams, a chandelier, and a fireplace. Light-colored furnishings and a separate seating area give the room a comfortable feel.

A sitting room offers a different atmosphere, with tall arched glass doors facing the pool and gardens. Neutral sofas, patterned rugs, and a circular chandelier complete the space.

Stone finishes and exposed wooden beams give the living room a traditional character. Pale sofas and armchairs surround a coffee table, while a television hangs above the fireplace.

The kitchen features a large central island with seating, dark metal chandeliers, stainless steel appliances, and open shelving. Outside, the swimming pool is surrounded by landscaped lawns, with the Santa Ynez Mountains forming a backdrop to the property.

Meanwhile, Trudeau's newly purchased residence appears to be a sharp contrast to the Montecito estate.

Justin Trudeau's Montreal Home Offers a Different Kind of Luxury

According to the Montreal Gazette, the former prime minister bought a house in Montreal's affluent Outremont neighborhood for C$4.26 million. Us Weekly reported the purchase price as approximately US$3.1 million.

The two-story property was built in the 1930s and contains nearly 5,000 square feet of living space. It reportedly has seven bedrooms and five bathrooms.

Snow covers portions of the roof and surrounding grounds, emphasizing the contrast with the sunlit photographs of Perry's Montecito estate. Stone steps lead toward the entrance, while multiple windows line the home's facade.

Its location, however, carries a personal connection.

Trudeau's New Address Is Near His Former Family Home

Trudeau's residence stands in a neighborhood connected to his earlier family life. An insider told Us Weekly that the house sits just blocks from the home he previously shared with his estranged wife, Sophie Grégoire Trudeau.

The former couple announced their separation on August 2, 2023, after 18 years of marriage. In an Instagram statement, Trudeau said they had made the decision after "many meaningful and difficult conversations."

Although they did not reveal a specific reason for their separation, Trudeau emphasized that they remained a close family and asked the public to respect their privacy and that of their three children: Xavier, Ella-Grace, and Hadrien.

A source discussed the property's suitability for Trudeau's family circumstances. "It's large enough for a blended family," the insider said, "and in a prestigious neighborhood where he used to live."

The Montreal Gazette reported that Trudeau was the sole buyer named on the sales deed. The newspaper also noted that he had announced plans to return to Montreal after leaving office in 2025.

The house could now play another role as his relationship with Perry develops.

Could Trudeau's New Home Bring Him and Perry Closer Together?

As their first anniversary approached, Trudeau was reportedly considering how the couple could spend more time together.

A source told Us Weekly in June 2026, "Justin is showing Katy his new home, where he wants her to live part of the year with him."

The proposed arrangement could allow Perry to maintain her Montecito connections while spending additional time in Montreal. However, it remains unclear whether she has agreed to the move.

Meanwhile, another insider described how the couple manages their long-distance relationship, saying, "They've found a rhythm that works and make a point to see each other as often as possible."

Social Media Users Compare the Two Properties

The contrasting homes have sparked discussions about property values, location, and privacy. On Facebook, one user questioned, "3 millions$us is a average house in several Montreal borrows. It is not a mansion. Still prestigious and exclusive borrows, though [sic]."

Another commenter reacted,"Imagine choosing canada to live instead of montecito California lmao [sic]".

A third person suggested that Trudeau needed a more expensive property, commenting, "She's got a 50 million dollar home so maybe he needs to get a bigger place."

On Instagram, one user compared Montreal's property prices with Toronto's, asking, "Why are properties that cheap in Montreal? That house would be min 15million [sic] in Toronto."

Another raised concerns about sharing photographs of Trudeau's residence, writing, "Why would we need to see his house? Should be left private. Alot [sic] of bad people will hurt him & his house."

A different commenter simply remarked, "Must be a haunted [sic] house." Meanwhile, another expressed support, commenting, "Happy for him💖."

But while the discussion centered on the homes themselves, a surprising detail about the California estate emerged in court.

An Unexpected Twist in the Property Dispute

For years, Perry was publicly associated with the $15 million Montecito purchase and the legal battle surrounding it. But testimony during the continuing proceedings in August 2025 introduced a significant distinction.

According to Realtor.com, Perry's longtime business manager, Bernie Gudvi, identified Orlando Bloom as the person who purchased the estate through a limited liability company.

During cross-examination, Gudvi explained his understanding of the transaction. "I believe Mr. Bloom bought the house through some controlled entity," he testified.

Attorney Andrew Thomas then asked whether Bloom had acquired the property in May 2024. "That's correct," Gudvi replied.

Realtor.com reported that a document filed with the California secretary of state's office on May 10, 2024, listed Bloom and two business managers as forming the LLC.

Perry's name was absent from that filing. The deed was transferred to the company on May 17, 2024. The LLC subsequently obtained a $4.95 million loan secured against the estate in August of that year.

The testimony prompted questions about whether Perry personally held an ownership interest. When Thomas asked Gudvi about her interest in the property following the purchase, he acknowledged uncertainty.

"I can't say that. I don't know," Gudvi replied. He added, "I mean, shared legal interest, I don't think so."

During court proceedings in August 2025, Perry's manager, Gudvi, identified Bloom as the purchaser of the Montecito mansion through a company associated with him.

Although earlier reports described Perry as the property's owner, her exact financial interest remained unclear. As Perry's relationship with Trudeau continues, the couple's future living arrangements have yet to be confirmed.
