KT Smith, Once Engaged to Singer Morgan Wallen, Is Now Married to Another Man
The internet personality has experienced a roller‑coaster ride in both of her high‑profile relationships. However, she chose to give her marriage another chance after she and her spouse initially decided to split.
Katie "KT" Smith was first thrust into the limelight due to her romance with country singer Morgan Wallen, a 19‑time Billboard Music Award winner.
From their rocky relationship to her now‑happily‑ever‑after with another man, here's a glimpse into the blonde beauty's life centered around her love story.
Who Is KT Smith?
Smith revealed all there is to know about her in a December 2021 blog post. She was born in November 1994 in Florida but moved frequently, raised by a single mother after her parents divorced. Her father sadly died from a heart attack when she was only four years old.
As a young adult, Smith—a woman of faith—was determined to become independent. During her freshman year at a community college, she worked part‑time as a social media intern at UT Medical Center, Sevier Heights Baptist Church, and San Tan City.
Reflecting on the experience, Smith shared:
"Working at the church as the children’s ministry intern and the social media intern — the best, most fulfilling jobs ever."
Today, she is a social media influencer after a media company reached out online to collaborate on several projects full time. Smith boasts over 500,000 followers on Instagram as of this writing.
How KT Smith Met Morgan Wallen
KT Smith's rise to online popularity was due in part to her relationship with country crooner Morgan Wallen. The pair met around the time she worked as an intern in 2016.
"We started talking on Snapchat (LOL) and hung out very often, started dating — and then got engaged within a few months. We broke off the engagement but still dated consistently for about two years, living with one another for about three," Smith explained in her blog post.
However, things hit rock bottom during their third year together. They were on and off but remained in contact, and she even accompanied Wallen on tour once. Smith divulged:
"But being thrown into the spotlight at such a young age is obviously going to come with some bad decisions. He wasn't the most faithful..."
Still, she became pregnant following their breakup in 2019. After giving birth to their son, Indigo Wilder, in 2020, Wallen shared the exciting news on Instagram, which worked in her favor. Smith gained 100,000 followers following the announcement.
While their new roles as parents brought growth, Smith admitted it was initially challenging to co‑parent with Wallen. However, the two have since found their footing, although they did not rekindle their romance.
KT Smith's Marriage to Luke Scornavacco
KT Smith eventually found love again with project manager and content creator Luke Scornavacco. The couple went Instagram official in June 2023, with her posting a carousel from their getaway and captioning it, "Florida 06.06.23."
Several months later, in March 2024, the couple got engaged. Smith shared a series of images showing the special moment as Scornavacco dropped to one knee. "Why save the good things for later? ❤️🔥," she penned. Loved ones, including her son, were there to witness the proposal.
A few days later, in April 2024, Smith stunned her followers once again with more joyful news. She posted a carousel featuring herself, Scornavacco, and Indigo outdoors, alongside a caption that read, "Swipe for a surprise 🤎🌼." The final photo showed the couple proudly posing with their marriage certificate — they had secretly wed.
Yet the whirlwind romance quickly peaked. Nine months into the marriage, by January 2025, Smith announced via Instagram Stories that she and her husband were parting ways. The mother of one noted it was difficult to share the news since her followers had been "invested" in the couple's romance from the beginning.
"I wanted to give you an update... especially since we've both been hounded with questions. And that's totally understandable. Luke and I have decided to separate," the Florida native continued, adding she would not disclose the reasons because there wasn't "much to share."
Interestingly enough, things took another turn three months down the line. In April 2025, Smith returned to Instagram, subtly revealing that she and Scornavacco had reconciled. She posted several photos of the happy couple and Indigo outdoors.
One shot showed Smith holding her husband's arm while he rested his hand on her thigh, with the youngster standing behind them. The trio smiled warmly for the camera.
Another image displayed Smith and Scornavacco in the same pose, this time embracing and beaming for the camera. "Look what the Lord can do ✨Happy Easter 🥰💫," she captioned the post.
