Astronomer Exec Kristin Cabot Seen for the First Time Since Coldplay Kiss-Cam Scandal, Sparking Buzz
The first sighting of Astronomer's former Chief People Officer since the kiss-cam scandal has the internet buzzing. Photos of her outside her home drew sharp opinions on social media.
Kristin Cabot, the HR executive who became embroiled in a viral cheating scandal at a concert, was seen in public for the first time since the incident.
Photos published by the Daily Mail show Kristin watering plants outside her home in New Hampshire, just days after resigning from her position at Astronomer.

In the photos, Kristin wears a tan chore jacket over a short pink dress, with her hair pulled up in a small bun. One photo shows her using a hose to water a row of flowering bushes along a white fence, while another shows her walking back inside.
Notably, her wedding ring is missing — a stark contrast to older photos previously shared on her social media accounts, where she was often seen wearing the ring during casual outings and family events.
Kristin’s current relationship status remains unclear. Her husband, Andrew Cabot, returned from a trip to Asia shortly after news of the scandal broke. The Cabot family belongs to Boston’s upper-crust Brahmin elite and is reportedly worth over $15.4 billion.
It is not known when Kristin and Andrew began their relationship. According to public records, Andrew was previously married twice — once from 1993 to 2013, and again from 2014 to 2018. Kristin was also married once before and divorced in 2020.

The pair does not have children together, though Andrew is a father to adult children from his first marriage, and Kristin has younger children from her own prior marriage.
The Cabots’ ordeal began on July 16 at a Coldplay concert in Foxborough, Massachusetts. During a quiet moment, the stadium’s kiss-cam focused on Kristin and her coworker, Astronomer CEO Andy Byron, capturing them in a romantic embrace.
When they realized they were on camera, she quickly turned away while he ducked out of sight. Their awkward reaction prompted Coldplay frontman Chris Martin to joke that they might be cheating — or simply very shy.
A video of the moment quickly went viral on social media. Internet sleuths soon discovered that Kristin and Andy were both married — but not to each other. Both executives resigned in the aftermath of the scandal.

However, public fascination with — and backlash to — the scandal shows no sign of slowing. After the Daily Mail shared exclusive new photos of Kristin, users flocked to the comments to weigh in.
Many users focused on her appearance in the photos. "She most certainly does look glum," wrote one user. "You can tell she's in a sad state," said another. A third simply observed, "Not a glamorous shot."

In the comments section of a Facebook Reel featuring the photos, some users condemned her actions. "She should be ashamed of herself[,] she knew he was married," wrote one user. But not everyone was as judgmental.
"People make mistakes small and BIG and everyone is prone to . Just leave them alone and let them be . we're no angels after all [sic]," another commenter said.
On TikTok, one user chimed in to say that "she rlly did not deserve that 😭.[sic]" Another urged people to "let her enjoy life," while a third asked, "Why are people more concerned about others' personal life🥺."
Beyond the backlash and subsequent resignations, the scandal may have additional repercussions. Kristin and her husband reportedly acquired their $2.2 million New Hampshire home in February of this year, taking out a $1.6 million mortgage.
The house was listed as a “fixer-upper,” requiring significant rehabilitation. Should they choose to separate or divorce, they may be forced to sell the house, as it is currently under a lien.
In the meantime, public interest in the viral kiss-cam video and its aftermath continues — and we've assembled five facts about Kristin to help you cut through the noise.
