The 42-year-old Spanish publicist shared two close-up portraits of herself on August 1, 2025 — one in warm, natural color and the other in striking black and white — both highlighting her golden-hazel eyes and softly tousled hair.

The post quickly drew admiration from followers worldwide. "Gorgeous Alejandra 😍🫶🏼," one admirer wrote, while another added, "You are a beauty wherever you are 🙏❤️."

Several fans focused on her striking eyes, with one commenting, "Those honey-colored eyes ❤️," and another gushing, "You don't have blue, green, brown eyes, I saw now your eyes are the color of honey, beautiful!"

Alejandra's online moment comes as the couple continues to settle into life in Spain — a move that prompted the sale of Richard's longtime New Canaan, Connecticut, mansion in November 2024.

Back in May, Realtor reported that the 1938 brick Colonial, which sold for $10.75 million, is now being demolished to make way for a nine-lot subdivision.

Before the work began, Hudson Valley House Parts was called in to save key pieces of the 87-year-old home. Founder Reggie Young said it was a shame to see the property torn down, explaining that once such craftsmanship is removed, it can never be replaced.

His team salvaged a variety of features, including midcentury steel bay windows with a nautical design, a limestone mantel, a marble mantel, Colonial window sashes, a full cerused oak library, exterior stone steps with an iron railing, and the original entryway with its arched jamb, paneled walls, and portico.

Reggie explained that while a celebrity name can create buzz, buyers of reclaimed architecture usually care more about the quality and design than fame. Some items, such as the bay windows, have already drawn strong interest. Others, like the large oak library, may take longer to sell because of their size and installation needs.

A few pieces have already found new homes. A doorway with Egyptian columns is headed to a Colonial Revival in Indiana, and a marble mantel is going to New Orleans.

The development, led by SBP Homes, will transform the nearly 50-acre property into the largest new subdivision in New Canaan since 2007, with parcels ranging from 2.2 to 4.8 acres.

While the Connecticut property's history fades, Richard said his life in Spain has brought his family a deep sense of contentment and belonging. Speaking to Page Six in April, he shared that Alejandra is "so happy there."

"Her family is there, her culture is there, [our] youngest kids are growing up there, their Spanish is perfect," he added. The pair shares two sons, Alexander and James Gere.

Richard elaborated on their happiness in a January interview with Elle España, saying this stage of their lives feels like a peak for both of them. He noted that Alejandra feels at home in Spain, and her happiness naturally makes him happy as well.

He credited their unity to shared passions, particularly their environmental advocacy. Together, they have worked on the Sierra a Mar project in Mexico and other initiatives, earning recognition for their conservation efforts.

Richard also reflected on a deeper philosophy that shapes both their work and relationship. He believes that true change happens when people set aside their ego and self-importance, focusing instead on qualities like openness, gratitude, and compassion.

These values, he said, are what make his wife shine, and connecting with them, whether someone describes it through spirituality, religion, love, or simple kindness, has no limits.

Alejandra told the magazine that she and Richard have been in sync since meeting in Positano on the Amalfi Coast in 2014, and that their marriage in 2018 only deepened their connection.

"We are like soul mates. We have the same values, we see the world in the same way and from the first moment we felt like we have known each other for a long time. And this only happens once, if it happens at all ... We were united by the karma of our past lives," Alejandra said.

Away from their life in Spain, the family has also made recent public appearances in the U.S. — moments that have drawn just as much attention, especially when Richard's older son is involved.

Fans couldn't stop raving about the "Ocean's Eleven" star's son, Homer James Jigme Gere. The 25-year-old appeared at ease, attending the prestigious event alongside his father and Alejandra.

It's not the first time Homer's public appearance sparked buzz online. In 2024, he made headlines after attending the Cannes Film Festival with his father and stepmother.

Although pictures of all three of them were certainly a sight to behold, what piqued the attention of fans specifically was Homer and his charming aesthetic.

"His son is gorgeous!" gushed an admirer online. Similarly, another added, "Wow his son is so good looking!" while someone else swooned, "So handsome!" "Beautiful guy!" wrote another fan contributing to the overwhelming amount of praise Homer received.

On the other hand, other people diverted their focus to the striking resemblance Homer shares with "his beautiful mom," Carey. "Homer looks just like his mom," noted a Facebooker. Echoing the sentiment further, another commented, "The son’s [a] spitting image of his mom."

Not only did Carey's lookalike son hit the jackpot in terms of his appearance, but according to his father, he also has a heart of gold. Richard once described the 24-year-old Brown University student as "very sweet, very sensitive," and "very smart."

"He's smarter than me, stronger than me, faster than me, taller than me, better than me. He's great. I love him," Richard said while discussing Homer in a 2019 interview.
