Selma Blair Steps Out in Los Angeles with Service Dog Scout Weeks After Flight Controversy, and Viewers Are Split — Photos

Selma Blair is back in the public eye following a reported flight controversy. This time, a quieter moment has drawn attention for a different reason.

A casual Los Angeles outing has sparked an unexpected discussion about the "Cruel Intentions" actress. While some viewers found reasons to feel reassured, others noticed details that left them concerned.

Dressed in a tan blazer, gray shirt, and light blue jeans, Selma Blair walked along a Los Angeles sidewalk with a takeaway drink in hand.

Her short blonde hair was styled with bangs, and she carried a green shoulder bag. Beside her was Scout, her brown service dog, wearing a bright green vest.

The actress held Scout's leash as they made their way down the sidewalk. Although the photographs captured an ordinary errand, the timing of the sighting gave the images added significance.

According to a Just Jared Facebook post, the outing came weeks after Blair was reportedly arrested following an alleged meltdown aboard a flight to New York City.

On Facebook, one commenter responded to the location of Blair's latest sighting with a pointed observation. "Well, she isn't in an airport at least," the user wrote.

Another person offered a more encouraging response, interpreting the outing as a positive moment for the actress. "At least she's in a good state of mind! 🙂" the commenter said.

A third user turned the discussion toward Blair's responsibilities as a service dog owner. "I thought that service dogs were taken from very unstable people? I hope she is looking after this animal," the person wrote.

On Instagram, the discussion shifted toward what viewers believed the images revealed about Blair herself.

One commenter took an optimistic view of the actress's ability to carry out her daily activities. "She's looks healthy to me holding a cold drink in hand and walking with her service dog. She's doing better than most people," the user wrote.

Other viewers focused on Scout's expression. "The look on the dogs face says it all...." one person commented. Another shared a similar impression, writing, "The dog looks so sad."

Concern about Blair's appearance also surfaced.

One Instagram user suggested that the actress seemed to have changed considerably over time."She's definitely going through something literally in the last few years. It looks like she's aged 10 years," the commenter wrote.

But another viewer noticed something that offered a more hopeful perspective. "She looks good, able to walk without her cane 🙌," the person commented.

Amid mixed reactions from netizens, Blair's latest photos show her walking alongside her service dog, Scout, without a visible cane. The actress appeared relaxed during the Los Angeles outing, which came weeks after the reported flight controversy.
