Pete Davidson Shows off Tattoo-Free Body in Clothing Brand Campaign, Sparking Heated Debate
The comedian and actor is turning heads with his latest appearance in a fashion campaign, but it's not just the clothes that have people talking; it's his entirely tattoo-free look.
Pete Davidson, known for his heavily tattooed body, is the new face of Reformation's latest campaign. The brand, which refers to him as an "official boyfriend," unveiled the collaboration with a series of promotional images where he appears free of tattoos. This clean look has sparked a debate among fans.

Davidson has been open about his tattoo removal journey, which started a few years ago. In an interview on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" on January 30, 2025, he discussed the painful process and revealed that he had "been burning them off."
When Fallon asked about the pain, the comedian clarified, "It's horrible. [...] They gotta burn off a layer of your skin, and then it has to heal for like, six to eight weeks, and you can't get in the sunlight. And then you got to do it like, 12 more times."
He also explained that he had around 200 tattoos at one point and described that period of his life as a "weird time." While Davidson has kept a few select tattoos, he stated that his goal was to have a "clean slate."
During another interview the following day on "Today" while promoting his movie "Dog Man," the actor elaborated on his change. "I got sober and I saw myself in the mirror, and I was like, nah," he said. He also advised that those considering getting tattoos should "make sure" they really want them.
His transformation in the Reformation campaign has divided public opinion. One Instagram user commented, "Is it weird that he doesn't look as good to me?"
Another simply stated, "This was a mistake." One particularly emotional reaction read, "Nooooooooooo… whhhhhyyyy [sic]?!?" A netizen on Facebook shared, "I liked him better with tattoos but hey his body [sic]."
A fan on X added, "The tattoos gave him swagger, or at least 'something'..... if he is going for the model look, but without the tattoos? nothing to look at now honestly [sic]."
On the other hand, many people applauded his new appearance and lifestyle changes. One enthusiastic Instagram user wrote, "He's looking so good!! Sober and living his best life. Get it!!" Another fan added, "No Tattoos 😍😍😍 I loved his tattoos but he still look good without them ❤️ [sic]."
Some praised his overall well-being, with one supporter commenting, "👏🙌HEALTHY!!!" Another agreed, adding, "I must say, Pete looks really healthy and happy. I'm happy for him.😊😂"
Others were simply impressed by how effectively the removal process worked, with one X user writing, "I don't have a preference for before or after. Whatever makes him happy. But [expletive], unless these photos are highly edited, his tattoo removal is impressive!"
As the conversation around his transformation continues, Davidson remains focused on his career and personal growth. Whether fans prefer the tattooed version of the comedian or his fresh new look, there is no denying that his latest campaign has made an impact.
