One of his most talked-about appearances came three months ago during a segment on "Fox News." Hogan, known for his signature tan and larger-than-life presence, appeared with a noticeably different look. Viewers quickly reacted to the change, expressing concern over his health and appearance.
"What's wrong with his eyes?" one viewer asked. Another added, "His eyes, never seen them like that." Someone else noted, "This dude visibly looks sick." The comments continued: "His eyes though," and "He looks possessed." One post read more ominously: "The end is near. Praying for the Hogan family during their difficult time."
At the time, Hogan was on a media tour promoting Real American Freestyle (RAF), an amateur-style wrestling competition aimed at professionalizing the sport. Despite the concern over his appearance, the initiative itself received strong support.
"This is awesome," one fan wrote. Another shared, "Love to see Hulk Hogan keeping it going!" while a third declared, "HUGE NEWS!!"
On the same day as his "Fox News" appearance, Hogan sat down for a separate, pre-recorded interview — off-air but circulating widely online. The footage offered a close-up view of the wrestling legend, sparking further concern about his health and physical condition.
During the interview, Hogan reflected on his early wrestling days and candidly admitted to drinking beer before matches in the past. But it wasn’t his words alone that captured attention — it was his appearance.
Viewers were quick to react to the video, many noting how markedly different he looked. "Gosh looks so different," one person wrote. Another commented, "He looked a bit tired and definitely lost weight… he definitely was going through something."

Others pointed to more subtle cues. "I can see the anxiety in his eyes," one viewer noted, while another added, "Didn't even recognize his normal voice." Some were even more direct, with one saying, "You can see death in his eyes and face. So sad"
Questions about Hogan's age also emerged. "30 years ago he is already old. Why is he younger now?" someone wrote, while another observed, "He was a lot older than 71."

Hogan’s final WWE appearance came in January 2025. While many in the arena cheered, others responded with boos — an emotional moment now viewed in a different light following his death.
Some celebrated his return to the ring, while others criticized his past and made their disapproval clear from the crowd. In the wake of his passing, that moment has sparked renewed reflection.
"Those people there must be felt[sic] regret for booing him that night," one fan commented. Another added, "It's sad he got booed." For some, the crowd's response now feels like a missed opportunity. "Sad this is his last WWE appearance. He should have been respected more. Now he's gone," one post read.
Another said, "That was his last WWE public appearance. I can't believe the audience treated him like that! They should all be ashamed of themselves." Others voiced frustration over how Hogan's long career was seemingly overshadowed. "He worked for 40 years and that’s all he deserved? How heartless we are," one person wrote.
Still, not all reactions were sympathetic. "In hindsight, it's kinda sad but not entirely undeserved," one person noted. Quoting the late rapper Notorious B.I.G., another added, "I would never wish death on nobody because there ain’t no coming back from that."
One comment captured the emotional weight of the moment: "And he got booed, it probably killed him on the inside." The January appearance now stands as a poignant final chapter — one that reflects the complex legacy of a man both celebrated and criticized in equal measure.
We previously reported that Hogan spent his final days grappling with severe health issues while seeking closure with loved ones, according to a report by Daily Mail on July 25, 2025.
A source close to his family revealed that Hogan, whose real name was Terry Bollea, was aware of his deteriorating condition. "He was suffering from shortness of breath, got tired easily, had lost a lot of weight, and was on oxygen," the source stated, describing the last weeks of the 71-year-old star's life in his Clearwater, Florida, mansion.
Hogan had reportedly been diagnosed with a very "weak heart," and his family was aware of the seriousness of the situation. Despite his condition, he remained emotionally focused.
"He had a lot of scores to settle. Didn't want to leave anything unsaid," the source added, explaining how Hogan spent his time trying to mend relationships with estranged loved ones.
On the morning of Thursday, July 25, 2025, EMTs responded to a 911 call from Hogan's residence. The wrestling star was experiencing major heart complications. He was transported by stretcher to Morton Plant Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

According to Clearwater Police, the call reporting Hogan's emergency came in as a serious medical situation. Officer N. Burnside confirmed that the dispatch described it as a cardiac arrest.
A standard death investigation is underway, though authorities confirmed there are no signs of foul play or suspicious circumstances. "Our personnel is providing the family with the necessary resources," said Burnside. "I strongly encourage everyone to keep the family in their thoughts, and please respect their privacy during this difficult time."
In the days prior, Hogan's wife, Sky Daily, publicly dismissed rumors about his condition. On Friday, July 18, in an Instagram Story response to a fan that has now expired, Daily wrote, "No, he's definitely not in a coma! His heart is strong, and there was never any lack of oxygen or brain damage. None of those rumors are true."
She clarified that Hogan had been recovering from a major four-level Anterior Cervical Discectomy and Fusion (ACDF), a complex surgery that impacted his spine, vocal cords, and breathing functions.
"We've been in and out of the hospital to support that recovery," she expressed, noting the healing process was ongoing. "There's no need for the drama or panic some people try to stir up. He's healing and we're taking it one day at a time with love, strength, and patience."
Just days before Hogan's death, more reassurance came from longtime friend and former on-screen manager Jimmy Hart, who also denied deathbed claims. On Tuesday, July 22, Hart posted on X, "Hulk is doing great, doing phenomenal! Last night at karaoke with Nick was absolutely fantastic, baby!!!" The post has since been deleted.

Reports of Hogan's health struggles had circulated weeks earlier. On June 18, a representative for the wrestler confirmed to E! News that Hogan had recently been hospitalized due to ongoing neck and back issues.
However, they emphasized there were "no reasons to panic." The rep added that Hogan "had problems with his back" for years and had recently undergone neck surgery, which "has indeed been successful."

In the background of Hogan's health battles and public statements, personal matters weighed heavily on him in his final months.
According to the Daily Mail, Hogan was already "heartbroken" well before his fatal cardiac arrest. Though known to fans as a symbol of American patriotism and toughness across wrestling, Hollywood, and reality TV, the man behind the persona had not spoken to his daughter, Brooke Hogan, in eight years.

The 37-year-old TV personality and singer remained estranged from her father up until his death. While the precise reasons for the rift were never publicly detailed, the Daily Mail reported that Hogan continued to hold onto hope for reconciliation.
"The last few months of Hogan's life had a lot more ups than downs," one insider told the news outlet. "There was a little strain with his daughter and their relationship that had taken quite the emotional toll, but he always thought he would eventually be able to rectify that."

Those closest to Hogan are said to be in disbelief over his sudden passing. "He was still extremely close to his son," the source added. "It is a surprise and doesn't feel real at all to his family and friends."
